I started working on this mix immediately after returning home from a recent trip to Jamaica, inspired by the rich culture and kindness of the people. This mix honors the history of the island with both the sounds of roots and riddims and features some of my favorite reggae artists and remixes. With tracks by Sly & Robbie, Buju Banton, Steel Pulse, Dawn Penn, Musical Youth, Ce’Cile and multiple Marleys, this blended collection is an uplifting and soulful tropical experience that explores the complexities of life, love and liberation.
